Circular Economy: Maximizing Business through Sustainable Practices

The EU-Indonesia Business Dialogue (EIBD) is EuroCham Indonesia’s flagship event, an annual6 platform to establish and deepen the relationship between Indonesian and European business and government.

This year, the EIBD will discuss circular economy, a breakthrough approach that aims to replace the current linear economic model (where products or goods end up as waste). As the economy grows, use of resources may result in scarcity of resources and the proliferation of landfills and marine litter, which could further deteriorate our environment. Therefore, the 2018 EIBD will illustrate how a circular economy model could become an alternative to address the aforementioned issues and also offer new opportunities for business, create new markets, as well as present companies with opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
