I La Galigo

I La Galigo is a musical theater performance with a script adapted from Sureq Galigo, an ancient Bugis script from the 14^th century. In this theatrical version, I La Galigo highlights the adventures of traveling, morality and the search for true love, which are carried out with courage by the descendants of the Gods. The essence of this story is the forbidden love between the main character, Sawerigading, and his sister, We Tenriabeng; they fight to drive away lust that could destroy their kingdom; and a search for love that is perfect and is of no issue for their cousin, We Cudaiq.
